This private test installer patches an official Anarchy Online client install so the launcher can show AORebirth and the official Funcom servers in the same server dropdown.

Use only with a dedicated AO test install folder. This is not a final public release package.

Before installing

1. Use a dedicated Anarchy Online test installation folder.
2. Close every Anarchy Online client and launcher window.
3. Download the installer from this page.
4. Verify the SHA-256 hash against the current test-build hash posted by the project lead.

Windows Security notice

This private test build is unsigned and installs an AORebirth version.dll proxy inside the selected Anarchy Online folder. Some consumer Windows installs may flag it as Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml or a potentially unwanted app.

Only allow it if all of these are true:

• You downloaded it from the AORebirth test link.
• The SHA-256 hash matches the current test-build hash.
• You are installing it into a dedicated AO test folder.

Do not turn off all antivirus protection. Do not exclude Downloads, Desktop, the whole drive, or a user profile folder.

Preferred allow method

1. Open Windows Security.
2. Select Virus & threat protection.
3. Select Manage settings.
4. Under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.
5. Select Add an exclusion, then Folder.
6. Choose the dedicated AO test install folder.
7. Run AORebirthClientPatchSetup-v1.exe and select that same AO folder.

Alternative exact-file allow method

1. Open Windows Security.
2. Select Virus & threat protection.
3. Open Protection history.
4. Expand the blocked AORebirthClientPatchSetup-v1.exe item.
5. Confirm the detection and affected path match the current private test build.
6. Choose Allow on device or Restore/Allow, depending on the Windows version.
7. Run the installer again.

Remove the installer-file allow entry after testing if you used the exact-file method.

Install steps

1. Run AORebirthClientPatchSetup-v1.exe.
2. Select the main Anarchy Online folder containing AnarchyOnline.exe.
3. Wait for the success message.
4. Start Anarchy Online normally.
5. Choose AORebirth from the launcher server dropdown.
6. Log in with the test account.

• AORebirth appears in the launcher server dropdown.
• Rubi-Ka and Rubi-Ka 2019 remain selectable.
• AORebirth login works with the private test account.
• Official server selection remains available.
