While it does less damage than the previous DoT line A, Infected Wounds, I believe this is intended to be a more Nano effecient DoT. It actually does more damage in regard to how much nano points it consumes vs Infected Wounds. But not by much.

No, this nano is inteded to do damage faster. It does 230 damage a minute, Infected Wounds does 158 damage a minute. You just have to cast it more often.
