NPC Types basically mean MP combat pet, MP mezz pet, or MP healpet.
Does what it says on the tin, but how effective it is is still up for debate. 25% healdelta boost may be worth it but we don't know what initial healdelta was so we can't be 100% sure what if any this nano has...still may be worth casting on pets, especially healpet that's never in fight, just to be sure, but I think this nano may need more tuning from FC

well since the paets have ~ 50k hp and they heal pretty fast i would imagine this to be very useful...

Word from on high is that this thing's actually bugged because the targets in question don't seem to have any real variable for 'healdelta' that we're used to...doesn't do anything because it has nothing to alter. Testing from other MPs have shown that it doesn't do anything to increase the healing speed of a pet in or out of combat, but I suspect this may be because how pets are coded in the game. Ah, well, 3 good nanos outta 4 isn't a bad shot.

Actually, the problem is that the "Modify Skill x%" modifiers go on base values, meaning trickle down and buffs do not change it (as it would probably introduce a fair few bugs with the order of which effects happen). Now Heal delta depends entirely on buffs and trickledown from Body Dev and you can't put IP directly in it, so if this buff was castable on players or any other NPC, it would have absolutly no effect just like it on the MP Pets. The question is, when they fix it, will it mean other items that increase a skill by a percentage also be changed to perhaps include trickledown and buffs. I know there are evade and nanoc init buffs that work like this. Could be interesting to see when it does happen. Could be a unintended love for a few professions :)

And since apparently MP pets never noticed a difference (same time to go from almost 0% to full with or without this nano running, it's been altered. Now it is a hot that heals the healpet for x amount every 5 seconds. Apparently FC figured we may get pets up to and possibly over 95k HP since it seems to allow for it (Good thinking ahead, FC!)
