Freezing Lancets

A blizzard of ice shoots forth from the nano-technician's hands, perforating the target and burrowing into their body. Due to the extreme temperatures generated from the shards, the enemy may find themselves briefly unable to move after being struck.

hm.. isn't the Electrifying Containment with 25% chance of stun better than this?.. also don't need to make such long quest..
Yakobo66 2007-09-17 15:24
about 2x the damage with 1/2 the taunt so um... not quite better
Mergai 2007-10-20 15:58
now this would need to do double dmg with 50% chance of stun and i mite be arsed to get it
as it is, the dmg is way too low
Dalek 2007-11-03 03:24
Electrifying Containment is better. Higher chance to stun = win, damage is irrelevant, if you want damage use SL/higher RK nukes.
Dalek 2007-11-03 03:25
Electrifying Containment doesn't have a 1s cast cap either, you can insta it.
Yakobo66 2007-11-16 11:26
:| EC has useless dmg... personally im gonna use this over IEF on my 150 NT... 2kdmg evey 4sec on this compared to 2.4k every 7s, massive taunt and no chance to stun...
donger 2007-12-01 13:10
well if you actually thought about it this is capped at 1/1 whereas electrifying containment has 9sec recharge, u can cast this 4 times before one Ec runs out..
Yakobo66 2007-12-15 16:45
not 1/1, 1/2.92 (recharge isnt affected by init)
Dilomax 2008-02-07 01:11
wait so how is recharge capped?
Vaxor 2008-03-25 20:49
FC and thier good old copy and paste coding ofc ^^

you must be thinking of neural stunner, not EC. recharge is 3.92 for EC. 9s for NStunner
Binarybot 2009-02-05 21:40
Same speed as EC (when you add capped attack with recharge), 2x the damage, half the taunt, but lower chance to stun. If this was insta, it would be nearly the same number of stuns per minute (3) while providing 5 more hits. With the 1 second cap, however, it cuts into those advantages.
Want stun? Use EC. Want damage with a chance of stun? This is pretty good. Want just damage? Use something else :)
Binarybot 2009-02-05 21:42
Lower chance of resist as well, but no edit button
Moniker 2010-05-30 05:13
This is the best damage nano nts can get in s10.
Saetos 2010-06-16 07:39
Wrong - though it eats up nano faster, Enfraam's Glacial Encasement does more DPS.
papouch 2011-06-29 11:36
EC and FL r both good same as EGE it only depends on situation if u kite enf its better to use EC if u duel use FL if u fight with MA and u wont debuff NR during uwos use EGE then FL :)) ( look at defense FL and EGE has under 100%)
Freyda 2011-07-23 05:43
hmm a 1s/2.9s vs EC that is 1s/3.9s I think I will take this one sure it has a lower rate of stun but its more consistant if you keep casting it plus its sure to land often if your using it in your toolset will definitely have to experiment with it
Binarybot 2012-04-15 21:18
EC doesnt have an attack speed cap, so 1/2.92 on FL vs 0/3.92 on EC (more time to run away with higher chance to stun). But agreed, use what fits your situation better.
