Drops from hecklers mostly, and are used to make crystal for creation of pocketbosses. When the vessel is summoned it must be filled with notum, which you can do at RK (Notum Wars Control Tower of the same QL or higher as the Unpolluted Crystal and right-click the crystal in order to fill it up). Behold, all your nano will drop to zero after this. I make 4-5 of these and fill them up at the same time before they vanish.

"Crystals Filled with the Source", as they are called after you notum-ize them, are combined with the Complete Pattern of the pocket boss you want to summon, then combined with Subdued Novictum to create the crystal you use on an Incarnator. For a more detailed guide on summoning pocket bosses, you should look up the process on Anarchy Arcanum or other AO guide-sites.
