The only advantages sabre has over wolf now is +1crit, the temporary frenzy of fur line and ACs(no one uses sabre for 400ACs) Wolf gives 125 damage with mother wolf group buff, and only 60 less AAO, which with sabre probably fills that 5 damage gap but wolf has the advantage of 200+ evades, which is better than 400ACs and maybe 10~ damage.
