Hack Grid Data Stream (Team)

This will create a temporary Data Receptacle in the inventory of each member of the fixer's team. This Data Receptacle can be used to hack into a highly encrypted Grid data stream. Because the encryption used on the data stream is regularly changed, the Data Receptacle will only be useful for 20 seconds. You will also receive a Quiescent Grid Waveform Template, which may be of some use later.

The quest is long when u're not lucky, boring, and u musn't forget there are evil Fixers who may steal ur borgs.
But that nano really worths it. No problem while picking a far team mish !

This is definatly the hardest nano in the game to get. Its insane. But it can make you money too.
Shojumaru 2006-01-18 13:09
Not hardest nano to get... Far from it, actually. All you need is a friendly crat and an engi if you're below 180, and not even that if you're 181+. Takes about 15 mins to get this quest done from start to end, and no camping mechdogs for those friggin' tubes like part 1 makes you do.
(Oh, and yeah. You can make some nice cred whoring fgrid rides at Bor grid)
Anonymous59 2006-02-15 15:40
Took me 3 days to make the borgs spawn (always got those damn plants) ^^ I guess I'm not lucky :P
Infall 2006-06-14 14:41
I've done the quest on 15 min, its easy when the borgs are up and people don't trains Sirocco on Vanguards.
Mr_H8 2006-07-02 12:10
just did mine.
i'm 180.
first borg was up, second took 3 hours to spawn, spawning plants between 10 and 30 minutes.
third borg was up.
did the quest itself in about 9 minutes.
and you don't need a crat & engi.
any calmer will do and another fixer for grid at a set grid terminal (i'll be trying this with an org member later).
krazyglue 2007-01-30 23:43
I just did the quest yesterday at level 145. Had a crat to calm borgs 1 and 3, and an NT at borg 2 to calm that one. MP mezz pets won't work for calming. We tried that first.
If you already have Fgrid the quest is easy to run. SETTING UP the quest (ie. spawning borgs, finding calmers) is the hard part.
tr33g 2007-07-23 12:52
Did that quest on 100 fix without yalm ^^
All you need is 2 engies and 1 calmer :)
One of the engies needs to have yalm, cause the third borg is on an island on which you you can only get by flying.
SoraAoi 2007-11-09 00:44
Lunaspawns respawn is random as of this posting date apparently. My 109 fixer has had it spawn in 5 minutes, or as slow as 20 minutes.
SoraAoi 2007-11-09 00:54
Oh, and any fixer can do this solo [yalm helps], use terrain to communicate with the borg so it does not have Line of Sight on you - no agro ftw. Not that I need to write this mind you, as pretty much any half decent guide on the internet also states this.
pvpfixer7 2008-11-25 10:36
i need 401 brake and entry for use that crystal?
jeycihn 2009-02-08 13:16
solo'd at 128 with my frub with 20 seconds left on the timer ... yes i r proud of that =P Yalm is a must, would have been way easier if I had a calmer for last one, agg'd twice oO the one on the rock had a bugged spawn, took 6 freakin hours to get it to pop!
Vabla2 2009-12-29 23:40
I still don't get why traders get tipped millions for a blitzed buff while fixers don't get even 100k for a freaking annoying quest one -.-
Poem 2010-02-04 19:32
Becouse you never stick long enough to pay the dude, It disappear in a couple of seconds. ^^
PigBenis 2022-07-05 22:30
