Creation: Coplan's Hand Taipan

This very taxing nano formula creates a weapon, Coplan's Hand Taipan, from the very body of the meta-physicist. Although some elements to create this item are gathered from the environment by the nanobot cloud, most comes from the meta-physicist. Use of this nano formula has been known to result in the death of more than one reckless meta-physicist. Furthermore, the item created is not a truly real construct, and will dissipate after 2 hours.

most of the time, people get this weapon just for the looks. it looks very nice with a solar guard-type shield..
however, i do not normally spend millions on one. if i happen to be able to roll it, i do. if you find one for about 500k, id buy it.
i also think that you should really try and get the lower ones (Crotalus, Viper Staff, Vital Buckler, Notum Defender, Solar Guard) if you only want them for looks. low price, low ql, low reqs. if you want it for the damage, roll it. it is cheaper and, although a little more cumbersome, more worthwhile.

are you all daft. they arent meant to be used in combat. if you look at the item in its physical form you can see that it gives 77 to max nano and -2 nanocost and also if you do choose to attack it can poison the opponent
