Introduction

When you first looted the Frozen Shoulderpads in Alappaa, you might not have been impressed. There is good news though; these shoulderpads can be upgraded. There are three different variants to choose from.

You'll need the following items:

Permafrost Melting Tool			Made from rewards from the Penumbra Xan Civilization Quest. Not used up and can be traded.
Frozen Shoulderpads			Looted from Alappaa.
Permafrost Armor Component			Looted from Alappaa.
Combat Program	Nano Technology Program	Melee Program	Looted from Alappaa. You only need one, depending on which variant you build.
Master Combat Program	Master Nano Technology Program	Master Melee Program	Looted from Dust Brigade Outpost (DB1). You only need one, depending on which variant you build.
